Hans-Peter Fischer has held the role of Chief Finiancial Officer at telent GmbH since 2006. Within the business, he is responsible for Finance and Control, Human Resources and Purchasing, as well as Commercial and Legal affairs. Alongside this he is responsible for the restructuring of subsidary businesses left over from the fragmented Marconi group in Central Europe.
Hans-Peter Fischer gained experience within the financial departments of Marconi Communications GmbH, Bosch Telecom GmbH as well as previously known parent companies. Apart from his every day tasks in the financial area such as accounting and reporting according to the German and international law, tax, insurance, factoring and treasury, he was also responsible for essential company transactions such as the merger of Public Networks of Bosch Telecom and Marconi as well as the sale of the telco area of Marconi to Ericsson.
From 2003 up until December 2006, Hans-Peter Fischer was Managing Director of the Polish subsidiary of Marconi.
Hans-Peter Fischer is married and has two grown up daughters. Outside the workplace he enjoys music and plays the trumpet in an orchestra and also sings in a choir.
