The telent GmbH is a service provider and telecommunications company based in Backnang. It offers more than 50 years of experience in the area of technology, project planning, installation, commissioning as well as operation and maintenance of communication networks. The company has arisen from Telefunken founded in 1903 and has been based in Backnang since 1954 (AEG Telefunken, ANT Nachrichtentechnik, Bosch Telecom, Marconi).

Today, telent GmbH offers tailor-made technology solutions and services for the area of mission critical infrastructures, digitalization and industrial plants.

For operational and safety-related communication, telent plans, builds up and operates for its customers the necessary network infrastructures composed of most state-of-the-art products and systems from various renowned and well-known manufacturers. These systems guarantee maximum availability and security for all IT equipment and thus for the associated business-critical processes in companies and organizations.

When networking and automating digital business processes, telent GmbH focuses on comprehensive experience and competence in the fields of cybersecurity, state-of-the-art IP and operational networks, PMR, IoT, wireless-access (pLTE / 5G) as well as technology and infrastructure service for e-mobility, as an example.
