The telent GmbH is a service provider and telecommunications company based in Backnang. It offers more than 50 years of experience in the area of technology, project planning, installation, commissioning as well as operation and maintenance of communication networks. The company has arisen from Telefunken founded in 1903 and has been based in Backnang since 1954 (AEG Telefunken, ANT Nachrichtentechnik, Bosch Telecom, Marconi).

The current telent GmbH – a company of the euromicron Group – offers customized and tailor-made technology solutions and Smart Services for the area of critical infrastructures (KRITIS) and industrial plants.


For operational and safety-related communication, telent plans, builds up and operates for its customers the necessary network infrastructures composed of most state-of-the-art products and systems from various renowned and well-known manufacturers.
